Banned by Path of Building or Awakaned POE?

I just found out I've been banned. My account worked perfectly until yesterday.

I am reading that many people are being banned for violating the rules.

However, the only thing I use that can break these rules are these two programs that I mention in the topic.

I think there have never been problems with its use, and you comment in a certain thread that use is legal:

If many people are being banned for this reason, I find it difficult for you to review the data before starting the new league. For me this is a great blow and disappointment

I made the appeal but I cannot add any type of information, since I do not know the real reasons for my Ban.

The only thing that makes me think from what I've recently read on these forums is that there is something going on with "POE AWAKENED".

Speaking specifically of this program, I believe that its use is common, and has been allowed for years. I have been using it without problems and my account is from 2016.

I have not been a regular gamer as I have been playing from time to time but I have not found any kind of restriction on this program.

GGG has nothing to do with this site and have never stated that this 3 party tools is allowed.
More clearly, GGG have public stated several times that the use of ANY 3 party program can get you banned.....
Using the defense --> "others have done it" doesn't help your case....
What you have to remember here, is that functions can be put into this program that breach ToS so saying that you used it since 2016 is again not a defense.
Maybe in 2016 it's didn't breach ToS but it does now with some updates that came later.....

As far as I know, the only 3 party tools that GGG have confirmed to be safe to use is PoB and a manual logout macro.

Yes support can't help you here since they have nothing to do with this "process". Accounts being banned / being investigated is done by another department that you can't contact and that doesn't give out "status updates".
You have the first and ONLY option in the "BAN Appeal process" and that's it..

You will properly get an answer in 1 - 4+ weeks

I think I expressed myself wrong. I am a player since 2016, I have played many months since then and others I have been inactive. Specifically, my last activity was 2 years ago, but I have played regularly

90% of players use this program and are not banned. In fact, GGG references this program in the link I've shared. If something is illegal, it is simply made clear so that the whole world knows about it. These are not excuses, but facts. The rules must be clear and equal for every single player.

This program does not grant any benefit in the game, it only speeds up the search through the OFFICIAL GGG forum.

It seems tremendously unfair to me that they prevent me from playing for 4 weeks and then say that everything was a mistake, and there is not even the possibility of speeding up the process.

I had returned to the game after two years to play the new season, and I find that after a few days my account is blocked. No make sense

90% of POE players use this tool and GGG has not spoken against it. it's as simple as going into channels like Twitch and to see any player. Everyone has been using it for years and it does not violate the integrity of the game.

I have accepted the GGG TOS but I understand that these rules MUST apply to everyone. For what reason is a penalty applied to one player and not for everyone?

I would like to think that the real reason for this ban is any kind of error. Otherwise it would be disappointing if one "random" player gets banned and the others players don't for the same reason.

Breach of ToS could mean something else entirely.

And what can it mean? I've only played for a week to try out content I didn't know about the last leagues. I have been able to level a new character and play almost all the content.


The only thing that comes to mind is the POE Awakened , which is what I use to buy and sell items, since last day it was not working well

Seriously, I don't understand anything...

Thanks for the support, I will post the answer here that GGG gives me when they wish... So it can help someone in the same situation

They are prominently linking to "this site" on their official site. So I do believe that "nothing to do with this site" does not fairly represent the situation. And I also do believe that (at least in the EU) this official link on their official site would matter from a legal perspective.
