Need Help for Crafting Items
Hello, sorry for my bad english. I have a question. I've been playing PoE for a while. This league wanted to start crafting this league, I just have no idea which method to craft is the BEST. I know on which site you can see the mods, but not which is the best way to craft. e.g. what is the best way to get "Socketed Gems have 30% increased Reservation Efficiency" + max life + resis + max mana on a Shield? hope u can help me bcs i want to start with crafting but its very complicated .

You really want to see how convoluted it can be to craft something even mildy complicated in PoE? Here you go:

Once you start to get an idea on the basics the below website is what you use to explore how you will craft your item.

The best way to craft changes depending on what you're crafting exactly. For Socketed Gems have 30% increased Reservation Efficiency, this is a shaper suffix. This one is a bit touch, since this suffix only has the "Gems" tag and so there's no really good way to target it outside of fossils. So I would do this craft by starting with fossil spamming in order to get your suffixes. I would use the 3 fossils that I don't remember the names. One for Gems, one for Elemental and one for Defense. This should focus on getting you the resists that you want, and the reservation suffix. If you go to craft of exiles, you can play around and see the odds.
Once you spam fossils until you get your suffixes locked in, you will hope for an open prefix. Bench craft "Suffix cannot change" and harvest reroll for life on repeat until you hit life then you can bench craft whatever mod is missing that you want. The general concept to crafting is target your suffix or prefix first. Whichever is harder to target. Reroll using fossils, essence, harvest or awakener orb until you lock down 3 strong affixes. Then use meta mod "prefix/suffix cannot change" and harvest reroll using the specific attribute to focus on finishing your craft. But again, this is a very generic explanation. |

Watch the Ziz video then ask again. There is no "best" method because a single piece will usually utilize multiple methods. The mod you want relative to the other mods on the gear relative to the base will change the relative "best."
In general, work backwards. Decide what you want, and figure out what on there can be deterministic (gauranteed result). Do that last with the more heavily RGN components early. ...But that still is relative to cost. Just watch the video. |

Bear in mind, generally, the more specific mods you want, the more expensive it gets. In some cases exponentially so.
