cant finish downloading 3.16.3 [solved: see op]
edit/update: uninstalling the game and deleting every single poe related file/folder including lootfilter and then redownload/reinstalling the game fixed it for me
hi, downloading latest patch always ends up being stuck at the same point picture: i tired pack-checking until no errors were found but the download is still stuck at that same point. then i tried uninstalling and downloading the entire game and got the same problem. picture: pack-checking finds and repairs errors here as well but doesnt help either. renaming the content.ggpk to force a redownload (wich is practically the same as uninstall+redownload?) doesnt help either and ends up in the exact same problem. ping check i play since open beta. never got this problem. i havent got any new hardware since harvest. i cant see the problem being caused on my end and i dont know what to do Last edited by Zoricus#0979 on Feb 9, 2022, 1:07:50 PM Last bumped on Feb 9, 2022, 1:07:11 PM

could be your provider having a faulty copy of that file in his cache.
try a different internet connection to download content.ggpk or temporarily use a vpn. and there is also the option to specify a different patching server on the command line (https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Launch_options) but i neither know the names of patch servers nor do i know if this avoids the cached file offline

" GGG doesn't offer TECH support at "the moment" (been like this for several years now), so that could be a long wait.... You have already been told some things to try to fix this. One option to try is also using a VPN connection like NordVPN or Exitlag. GL exile. Last edited by HanSoloDK#4843 on Feb 1, 2022, 4:23:43 AM

" Then you have a problem with your pc --> - Windows issue. - local disc issue. - Security software preventing disc access. - Security software preventing correct internet access / interfering with IP packets. - Insufficient windows rights (try running as "an administrator"). - "Something" in your local network blocking / interfering with IP packets. |

i have same problem just delete the content pack and then open the game and let it reinstall a new pack should be ok if not uninstall poe and reinstall and don't use steam version it's the worse one u can run.
if you uninstalled the game and it still doing it then you need to go in and make sure every single file that all loot filters temp cache everything to do with poe is off your pc before u reinstall you u might just be keeping the same issue if you leave anythig on ur pc Last edited by Savage_Tha_Clown#1530 on Feb 2, 2022, 5:20:57 AM

It is certainly a server side (CDN) problem so that i changed to use Steam version as primary version
And then Norton antivirus has VPN included and it work just fine to fix this Remember to change to different region, say i am in Australia, changing to Japan so that the game client should using another CDN This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee.
