Lag spikes/Connectivity issues [EU/Deutsche Telekom/1&1]
So I'm not sure how much can be done about this, really, but the game is currently pretty much unplayable for me. I have lag spikes every few seconds ranging from a few 100 ms to several 1000 ms (particularly while playing, just standing in a map where this occurs seems to keep the spikes mostly in the 200-300 ms range).
![]() I've tested this on Frankfurt and Amsterdam servers until now. Trace for Frankfurt looks similar in terms of packet loss. Anyone have an idea what I can do here besides trying (probably pointlessly) with my ISP? Going to your ISP really is the only solution here I am afraid.
You start seeing some PL at your 4th hop and it only gets worse from there at your 5th going forward. When you call them, make sure that they see your MTR so that they can see where things get borked. " @Aragorn14 is spot on here. You will need to talk to your ISP. However I also think it's a bit strange that your connection between your PC and the router/modem is "unstable" with latency --> fritz.box - 0 | 515 | 515 | 0 | 8 | 85 | 30 | Are you by any chance using a WiFi connection in your home ? |
