curse on hit priority: ring vs glove

Please refresh my memory!

From the wiki: Main hand ⇒ Amulet ⇒ Helm ⇒ Off hand ⇒ Body armour ⇒ Gloves ⇒ Boots

I assume amulet is the same as ring, so if I have a curse on hit on my ring and my glove, my ring takes priority correct?

You shoud be more specific, what gloves and what ring (or what mods they have). Curses were divided to hexes and marks. Hexes do not respect the triggering order (you listed) since hex-on-hit stats do not cause them triggering (in contrast to mark-on-hit stats).

Hexes apply in specific order, Temporal Chains has the least priority.

first of all, curse on hit is pretty specific: it is not "trigger x mark on hitting a rare/unique"

Also, what you described is only if the curses are on the same item. For example, if you have a double or triple implicit glove then the curses are applied alphabetically ONLY ON THE GLOVE. But the gear triggering order still applies unless they made an extreme change I missed...

really the only thing I'm trying to verify is whether the amulet order placement also refers to ring

I'd just like to add that it also doesn't matter whether its a hex vs a mark. It STILL follows the trigger order, both on an individual piece of gear as well as across multiple pieces. The only difference is that you can only have one mark active no matter what, and they cost mana now.

That's all incorrect, for hexes it doesn't matter from what item slot they come, only the order matter, which is not alphabetical. Triggering order for triggers - marks.

Try gloves with Despair on hit and a ring with any other hex on hit.
