Is Stasis Prison the most expensive unique item to ever exist?!

Delerium is the most reliable generator though, offering 10 stacks.

I don't remember what it cost, but Atziri's Disfavor in Ambush/Invasion had insanely low surprise and you had to have one in stash at the end of the league for hitting 8/8 challenges. Currency availability has changed a bit since then but I suspect that it cost more in terms of player time to achieve the necessary currency than Stasis Prison does.

The price of the item "should" be under 300ex right now, not the ~750ex that one would assume it's currently selling for.

The main issue is that nobody is running the content and few people can actually run the content. Also that the item isn't so exciting that you'd go out of your way to farm it. A defensive item in a competitive slot. Zero builds would blow even 300ex on this except as a showcase.

Imho over 80ex the price is scuffed. Next league people will definitely aim toward farming that content. Yes the chest is extremly strong but it's a defensive chest, nothing particulary high end without double corruption stuffs. It is not on par in terms of power level with elevated rare chests(thinking about vaal regalias int stacking, frenzy on hit, extra curses, base crit and so on) and you need to get to pretty high dps and base ehp anyway to clear content where its sustain is relevant.

THe price of chase item has gone through the roof honestly....

Where speaking of hundred of exalts, its just plain crazy.

Like the new unique they just announced is an amazing unique, but again another unique I'll never to be able to afford to use and this make me feel sad.

I understand the principle of chase unique but their prices are so high its just plain demoralizing especially as they are super fun to use and build around.

Lmao! That's MY thread. ;) I didn't link it cos there's no one else to give credit to. If you bothered to follow me properly instead of jumping to conclusions, you'll find I ALWAYS give credit to others where appropriate. Even on Reddit if I've added ideas from others to the post, I credit them.
