Prophecy - Vote to remove or not, pro and con

feels kinda pointless to vote on something that has already been decided to be removed as early as the next league.. I guess they make these decisions based on player engagement, so the least popular league mechanics get removed first.

Fixing it would've be better for sure, but given how bloated PoE is with past league content - they probably don't have the manpower to keep all of them up to date. Hope ritual and metamorph go next, idk why they keep adding pointless stuff like this to core
your votes don't matter, they are removing it based on the statistics.

For me, remove it, i stopped interacting with it, had 2 tabs full of sealed prophecies that i never used, stopped picking up coin because i never used it.

And for the most part (bar a few crafting things and some map modifiers) it was only really about getting some of the unique items, which are getting added to the core drops anyway.

Agree that votes don't matter. Game companies (not just $.10-controlled-GGG) do what they want, which is usually what is profitable and lame, not what players want.

I'm casual enough to actually give her the coins even while i'm leveling, and I like the occasional thrill of whatever that yields.

Chains, obviously, were originally super-broken, and then fixed to be only less-broken, but it would be nice if chains just .. yeah .. magically.
One of my concerns with Prophecies removal are the Fated Uniques. Yes, most will be upgraded. However, most of the common unique drops are the unfated uniques. I fear that in future leagues, Alchemy Orbs will be a lot more difficult to accumulate, simply because there will be a lot fewer trash unique drops that can be sold for quick and easy shards.

Other than that, I won't miss prophecies. Most of the better ones have either been implemented, will be implemented, or can be with modifications.

Mythic Orb can replace Trash To Treasure, though it does have a chance to fail.

Monstrous Treasure is a glorified Ambush map. It could be added to Zana Missions, or the Infused Ambush in Harvest could be changed

Same deal with Fated Connections. Slightly increasing the chance of a Harvest 6-link could replace this.

Being able to get one-use quality currency is nice, but aren't these common enough that they are unnecessary?

I've gotten a few good uniques doing the 5 for 1 unique trade with the vendors. It surprises me they haven't added it to the core vendor recipes yet. It probably won't see as much use, as the ones I traded were usually the unfated uniques that will no longer exist.

I do wish they would keep The Pale Court though. The fight isn't difficult, and is a good starter for newcomers of bossing. The fragments could easily be added to Delve or Heist drops, and are still useful for juicing maps.
