WHAT GEMS ACTUALLY CURRENTLY WORK WITH COC, COD

Many of the gems I used to use with COC seem to no longer work with COC, including ones that seem to meet the written requirements.
example: COC+ despair +attack https://pathofexile.fandom.com/wiki/Despair COC+ essence drain +attack https://pathofexile.fandom.com/wiki/Essence_Drain These do not seem to work or the animation is broken, yet they are not totems, traps, mines, Vaal skills, or channeling skills, and not skills that reserve mana. could any one post a list of gems that actually work with COC and COD in the current patch. First, are you sure you have enough mana to sustain the CoC? Triggered skills now have mana cost, and CoC tends to drain mana rather quickly.

I tried it with no buffs with 876 mana. Still no luck thank you for the reply.

If you un-hide your characters, it makes it easier to help you:
Go to Profile-->Edit Privacy Settings-->Uncheck "Set Profile as private" ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.

" Those gems do work based upon what you've posted. There is clearly something being left out or an oversight. As DoubleU stated, making your characters public will help to find the oversight. There are a few ways to break it, and some are not so obvious, like using Gruthkul's Pelt. That will 100% break it. Thanks for all the fish!

The game is actually really really (annoying really) precise in it's wording. If you aren't getting CoC to work, it's because something is being done to cause it. Maybe on the tree, you took "You deal no Critical hits". Maybe you picked it up from an item. All sorts of mistakes can be made. We'd have to look at your characters to see what's going on.
