Gem level requirement roulette
I understand that the gem level requirements were created to make some kind of character development, motivated to learn game mechanics and how to play the game.
According to my experience on several years playing the game, right now everyone uses same skill gems and the same build strategy to get to maps as it's easier/more efficient. So I though this, following your latest balance manifesto. Problem: out of hundreds of skills, barely 15-20 are actually being used to get through the campaign. Solution: on every league the level requirement for the skill gems are randomly generated; taking agility gems as an example, right now caustic arrow is lvl 1 and lightning arrow lvl 12, so on next league iteration, those 2 gem level requirement are swapped. Making caustic arrow a lvl 12 skill gem and lightning arrow a lvl 1. That will force people to improvise on every league a new way to get through the campaign. Last bumped on Dec 30, 2021, 5:03:18 AM

theres one small problem with your idea, the skills have damage balanced around the level they start on, so that would be a massive balance change every patch

For starters, they should just remove the limit for skill gems availability pertaining to classes.
