How does a mods weight translate into actual chance to get that mod?

Math

target_mod_weighting / total_weighting_of_possible_mods * 100

Example

Target item:
Helmet, no influences, only has one open prefix - will be redeemer slammed

Possible outcomes with weightings:


Possible outcomes with percentages:

500 / 1750 * 100 = ~28.6% to hit 'Power Charge on Kill'
1000 / 1750 * 100 = ~57.1% to hit 'Physical taken as Cold'
250 / 1750 * 100 = ~14.3% to hit 'maximum Unleash Seal thingy'

actually, heres a follow-up question: you have shown how to calculate the chances for a mod group, but how do u calculate the chances for a specific mod within that mod group? (or the chance to get, say, tier one mod from that mod group)
