Updating PoEWiki is not really that difficult

I am sure you guys heard of JourneyToJah and his regular update on www.PoeWiki.net aka Project Wiki
https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/qbdayc/project_path_of_exile_wiki_road_to_316_phase_two/.

To those who don't know, he started a wiki migration project. If you are interested, you may find discord link to join the team in his post.

Some of you probably backed out on helping wiki update due to various reason like
- English is not your first language
- PoE knowledge is not that deep
- not understanding coding, etc.
Honestly, don't worry, there are plenty of works that you can help out on.

Let's use the outdated Glennach Cairns as an example , or you may refer to updated Lira Arthain.
https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Glennach_Cairns
https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Lira_Arthain

Step zero - Create an account
Step one - READ!! Word by word.
PoE patches very frequently, and it is very easy to miss out on small details. The first thing you will notice in the page is that the Glennach Cairns Atlas passive skills information is incorrect, but the one on the image is correct. That is because some of the info on the site are updated via mass import, such as the image in this case.

So we have the correct info, now we need to update the contact. Click on "edit" next to the section for Atlas passive skills.

Step two - Understand the editing page
You will see the editing screen and might freak out with all the symbols and punctuation in wiki format. But at the same time, the format and pattern is actually easy to understand. Let's take the section for Legion and Incursion as an example:

Editing page on the left, PoEWiki page on the right

The pattern is quite clear. We can see the words "Legion Skilltree" and "Incursion Skilltree", but there are many symbol only shown on the editing page. That must means those ''' and # and [keyword] are some sort of wiki language to define the bulletin and hyper links. FYI, [keyword] is for creating hyper link for the keyword. ''' separate the bulletin and # create a new bulletin point. You may also click on "Advance" on top for formatting help. If you want to dig deeper, you may refer to MediaWiki
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Formatting

Step three - Edit the content
Now that we have identified the section to edit and bulletin format, the rest is to fix the content. As mentioned, the info on the page is the old atlas passive, so we have to refer the image on the side (or your preferred source) and update it word by word. After we are done, click "Save changes"

Step four - Review
Keep in mind your update to the page will be viewed by millions of players. Please proof read and make sure everything shows as you wanted. If you messed something up and don't know how to fix it, you may always ask for help on the discord.

**Thank you for reading. Wish you have a Merry Christmas and awesome atlas invasion run.**
