Sell items for Instilling Orbs

I would like to sell an item for Instilling Orbs, but in the public stash tab, when setting the price, they are not in the list (neither are Enkindling Orbs). Is there any way to still have them listed for Instilling Orbs on poe.trade? Or am I limited to the trade chat?

you need to use buy out tags,

So like

~b/o 1 exa

if placed on your orb means it costs 1ex for it.

I don't know these new tags though maybe google b/o tags poe

You'll need to place the B/O tag on item you wish to sell and know tag for instilling orb

Oh they might not even be supported either. So yeah maybe good old trade chat or town board. Old school. We traded like that years lol and it was as bad as you can imagine.

are you... adverse to selling items for chaos and then just buying instilling orbs?


because, ill tell ya, if someone lists an item with a price in instilling orbs, im very likely to ignore the listing, or never see it in the first place

Well it saves me a step. And I'm also new to trading. Why would you ignore that listing?

Edit: I just checked currency.poe.trade and the two orbs aren't even listed there...

because, generally, people that list things for non chaos/exalt, are doing 1 of 2 things:

1: hoping people dont know the conversion rates, and get you to pay much more than you think you are.

2: get the item to show up earlier in the search listing, and then instead of selling it, whispering you back with their 'real' price.

if you want to see currency, i would use poe.ninja instead. i would not use poe.trade for anything.

stop using poe.trade, that third party site is outdated and slow

to get tags for all currencies/other stuff for listing.

also listing for things like instilling orbs is a bad idea as people won't take them seriously or don't want to take the time to convert their chaos to a worthless currency to perform a trade.

some exceptions can be made, but they are rare, in this case I would just list for chaos then bulk buy the orbs you want.
