POE minimum requirement?

CPU: INTEL CORE I5-6600 @ 3.30GHZ

GRAPHICS: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960

RAM: 128 GB

OS: WINDOWS 10 64BIT

From my research, my computer requirement at least fits into the minimum requirement.

However, as my FPS is low as F I kept all graphic settings the lowest.

Still, it keeps dropping down frames and shows tearing after playing about 1 hour.

Is there no way but to upgrade graphic and CPU?

Then I should totally change my computer..

I'm afraid the only way to get decent FPS is full upgrade.

I'm using CPU with similar "per core" power but with 12 threads, in some circumstances PoE consumes up to 90% of total CPU utilization capacity.

So I'd say the minimal CPU required for 1080p @ 60fps is more like 8cores/threads of gen3 Ryzen or gen9 Intel.
Minimal GPU for stable 60 fps at 1080p is like RX5600XT or GTX1660S.

They have very low architecture quality standards, the client in some cases can produce unbearably low FPS on any high-end system.
Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess
when PoE had DirectX9 support you could play with a PC like that.
However that's not really possible anymore....

Thanks for your comments.

I tried out several things since I'm running out of budget,

and Geforce Experience image scaling function gave the most graphic performance boost.

Hope this might work to some other fellas having problem same to mine

Should blame GGG for not fixing the minimum requirement then..
i have played PoE this year with(always the same GPU aka GTX970);

I5 4670k (4c4t) (60 fps until something league mechanic happens,, dips into single digits)

I7 4770 (4c8t) (60 fps until 2 league mechanics happens, dips into 20's)

I7 5820k (5c12t) (pretty much 60fps all the time.. might dip into 40's but that requires a lot of shit happening)

graphics on low, culling on,dyn, res off, windowed fullscreen on a 1080p desktop, IN-GAME i choose 1280x720 just to keep my poor 970 a bit cooler)

e: also i would like to point out that capping your fps into 45 or even 30 makes the game feel way smoother rather it going 60-->15-->35->60

Thanks for the detailed tips.

I resolved some issue by using NVIDIA Geforce experience 'image scaling' function, which is similar to your resolution tip.

Well you can play, it's just not "good" gfx....

But good to hear that you got it to work better now.....

how about we blame people that don't understand MINIMUM?

Minimum to launch and play the game at all, not launch and play the game on smoothly or max settings, something games don't do any more as there are far too many user based parameters that could fuck things up.
