Stampede ghost nerfed at some point?

I'm noticing my movement speed being slowed at times, at least from Chills. (Maybe Temp Chains, maybe not, I forget. Will look out for it next map it rolls on.)

As far as i know it doesn't protect against all types of slows.

Stampede only prevents changes to your movement speed specifically. It doesn't prevent changes to your action speed. So you won't be affected by some things like Vine Snare or Tar, but some other things like Temp Chains and Chill will still slow you down.

Well, it looked like Temp Chains does not slow me. But Chill definitely does.

I'm aware Stampede only "protects" movement and not action, but I am talking about movement.

Temporal Chains does work against Stampede as well. You may have reduced effect of curses helping you out?

Action speed reductions do effect your movement speed.

Oh, hmm, weird. I didn't think I had curse reduction, but maybe something inadvertently.

Yeah man. I know. I know how Stampede is reading, lol.

I'm saying my movement is being slowed down. My walking. Trot trot trot. Patter patter patter.




If all these things work against Stampede, I dunno what the point is for that affix on the item.

And, sadly, I still love the boots for the CDR of Flame Dash anyway, lol. RIP.

They offer solid movement speed with movement skills and negate the need to invest in MS beyond the boots themselves. There are numerous ways to deal with chill, temp chains, and other means of reducing your action speed. They do also let you bypass a lot of things that would otherwise slow you down by reducing your movement speed.

But what makes those boots truly shine is one of the various Winterweave self-chill builds. The Flow Untethered/Torrent's Reclamation is another way to make good use of them.

I'm asking, what things do they bypass? If they don't bypass Chill and Temp, the two most common things that slow your movement.
