Valuable, Expensive, Gems. What gems "should" cost what?

(Yes, I searched around and couldn't find what I was looking for: a good thread on Gem costs).
What are your thoughts on what BASIC gems "should" cost? Of course, most basic gems seem to be "worth" an alch (but you have to find someone who needs it first). And most support gems seem to be "worth" a chaos. But what gems should be more? How much should these other gems be? Here's a list of all the gems. I've added what I believe should trade for more: MISC: Portal-- 1 EX (Currently the most costly gem in the game.) Portal is such a junk gem.
Can't believe people pay in gcps for it. The cast time makes portal absolutely trash. Just use a TP scroll. Everyone has at least 300 in their inventories. The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

LMP should not be 2 chaos. I know some ask that much for it, but they're just trying to rip people off. It should be more like 1 chaos.

" You'd be surprised how much you save with it while farming. I estimated at a 20% inflation trading up from TP scrolls to the 2 GCP I payed I've a little more than covered it. If that list is true, I recently dumped several exalts worth of gems into terraces and left them there to rot.

" No, the list isn't "true". It's just my ideas, and that's it. I'm asking for more input. Yes, many gems are pretty much worthless, but when they sell, they sell for an alch. That's the standard going price for basic "useless" gems most of the time, IF you can actually find someone to buy one. No, I copied from the wiki. I don't know what CB is and I'm not sure why they include old gems. And yes, Portal pretty much normally sells for an exalt or so. I've seen it happen many times. Of course, I have also seen it go cheaper. I just got one for 4 gcp. Typical asking price is an exalt though. And yes, trap normally sells for more than normal. You may disagree with what "normal" is, but it's one of the support gems I've often seen sell for more than other support gems. But this is just my thoughts and ideas to get the conversation started. " If you're talking about on HC, you should clarify. On default, Portal has been sold for 2 gcp at the most for the past month. I personally believe 1 gcp is as expensive as it should ever be. It's useful, it's just not THAT useful. i too fas fo youuuuuuu
