Carrion golem and weapon swap affect

If you have 2 Cold Iron point daggers, level 20 carrion golem in chest, you cast the carrion then hit X to switch weapons, does carrion remain level 26 or drop to level 20 ?

They do drop to level 20, you can test that by spawning spectres on a lvl 25 setup then swapping weapons for a lower level of spectres. This is how it works in every minion. The thing is, even if it worked the way you suggested, you would have to recast them with iron colds in every new area you have entered and that would be insanely time wasting.
