The Weaver - Zizaran's Gauntlet

Anyone have any tips on getting past The Weaver on the Zizaran Gauntlet league?

I've had 2 characters eat it on that fight so far. What's a source of chaos resist prior to that fight? I haven't really even seen any at that level.

Yeah, Weaver is my nemesis too.
Tried TR with totems - one shot
Tried Lighting Strike - one shot

Evasion is the best defense, I think, at that point in the game.

Weaver only has 1 attack that's relevant in this gauntlet and its the web shotgun, just stay in melee, if it looks like weaver is moving away dash back ontop and preferably behind just incase.

You could steelskin or MS when she moves away as well if that's a comfortable choice (or granite if you've got one), however it is quite likely you will do the entire fight without her using it.

Oh and decoy totems always a lifesaver, put on other side of the boss and just keep it up but fundamentally stay in melee is the #1 thing.

She doesnt fire the shotgunning attack if you are right in her face. Get as close as possible.

weaver doesnt do chaos damage.

or, at least, chaos resist wont help you.

i had a ranger with 35 chaos resist and 650 life. she got 1 shot.


this duelist went ARMOR (defiance banner, armor gear, steelskin) and had a MUCH EASIER time. didnt even need decoy totem.
