PoE crossplay PC with PS4?

Can Path of Exile will be crossplay PC with PS4? I have friend with PS4, I have PC. I would like to play with him but I can't. I would be grateful when PoE will be crossplay PC with PS4.

The games are too different. Trade would get all messed up. They'd have to elliminate trade to make it even possible.

The actual reason this won't happen is that PC and PS4 are on different patch cycles because GGG has to get patches approved by Sony before they can be applied to the Playstation version of the game.
PC version, GGG is able to drop hotfixes literally within minutes of a bug or exploit being discovered, provided the fix is a simple one. It sucks, I've got console friends who it would be nice to party up with as well, but blame Sony. It's the same reason console players didn't get the December race leagues, the "patch approval process" crap that Sony and MS force their fans to deal with. |
