Can't really get rid of bots in a F2P Game. It's a major reason why Auction Houses are a bad idea. It helps players sure, but you're giving bots even more power to control the economy.

Long as people can profit even a small amount with bots they will continue to do so regardless of how many accounts GGG bans. This is even true of Buy2Play or Subscription games.

The economy is almost based around bots at this point anyways.

I've been an advocate of the Vendor system used back in Ultima Online and EverQuest.
Players put items on a vendor for prices then others can visit their hideout regardless if they're offline or in a map and buy what they want from that vendor.

Your examples are not bots.

The super rich are teams with an aurabot. They play 16+ hrs a day, get to all the rich content 1st sell it, and give all the money to one dude and buy things cheap no one but teams have money for, like mirrors and sell much much higher later. They also have a full time seller they give 20-40% to. You can watch them live like emperions crew.

The lvl 100s in 3-4 days are guys who grind maps 16+ hrs a day. Watch them too on stream in SSFHC, they are usually 1st to 100 like steelmage.

Bots are here for sure but still cant do what the best humans can yet. Thier game is grinding ez low lvl maps for currency.
