Transform Items 2 Challenge

Hi guys,

I'm trying to get my 36 challenges, and currently Transform Items 2 is the only one left that I think is achievable.

I'm on 4/5, and don't have Curse on Hit / Gem Level Modifier / Keystone Passive / Reservation Mastery

Should I focus on amulets, chests, or I heard somewhere that ilvl 14- helms were a good bet for the gem level one?

Been focussing on amulets, buying as many scourge 2 amulets with xp near 3 as I can - currently spent over 800 chaos. Still nothing.

I'm getting to my wits end with this challenge - any advice would be welcome.

i would look to do this with a low level helm

and i mean, a damn item level 1/2/3 helm.

because according to https://poedb.tw/us/Helmets_str_int#BloodCrucible , +1 str/int/dex gems is available from ilvl one

and checking trade

these are available at scourge tier1. so you just get a pile of shit helms and blast them all to S1.

gem mods each have a weighting of 200, so 600 total for one gem level mod.
life mod has a weight of 1k
armor mod has a weight of 500
e different ele resists have a weight of 1k each
reflect is 1k
life/sec is 1k
mana/sec is 200
stats are 500 /ea

so, like 600/9000 weightings using low ilvl (1/15 odds). but theyre super fast to scourge, should only need a couple hundred kills for each hat.

Thanks for the reply. I had tried low ilvl helms for a little while but after about 40 or so I gave up and had my doubts on the information I got.

Your reply pushed me to try again, and 30 helms later I have now completed the challenge.

First time I've ever done more than 24 challenges, so I'm pretty happy about that. Thanks mate.

The low level helm strat worked well for me too.

I Started to get frustrated and was about to give up until I came across this thread so I bought a bunch of low level helmets and the first map i got it.
Thank you so much for the strat. Only the 2nd time I've hit 36 challenges as a part time player.
