peaked at 148,447 Players on Oct 22 2021. The Player count is 47,945 On 22 Nov 2021 A drop of 100,502 players. Comparing this to previous leagues: Expedition 116,106 Jun 28 2021 64,671 July 26 2021 -51,435 Drop Ultimatum 155,138 Mar 2021 92,312 Apr 26 2021 -62,826 Drop Ritual 157,091 Dec 28 2020 90,539 Feb 1 2021 -66,552 Drop Sigh.... I mean Thanksgiving week where alot of people are traveling or busy preparing for the holiday is not a good week to be using for Metrics.

This is neither new nor surprising. Expedition was meant to a huge content league (which it was) but got completely trashed by horrible balance decisions within the patch it was shipped with.
Scourge is just the usual filler league topped with a few december events. It was praised too heavily by ggg and people figured it doesnt really have much substance. But after the 3.15 incident i can understand why they felt the need to hype it this hard. At his point, nothing but 3.17 matters i suppose. |

All you guys quote Steam but how many play with steam client and when does it become statistically relevant to study game trends?

We get these posts every single league without fail.
If 1/3 the players are still playing, it's not the end of the world at all. Pretty healthy really. I really don't get what people get out of postings like this.
