Gear has surpassed the skill tree
This game is all about gear now, the skill tree is for health, es and clusters.
All of the new powerful items have made the amazing skill tree pretty irrelvant. It seems every build needs certain items, its not much different than d3 now (i like both games). Last bumped on Nov 27, 2021, 8:48:57 AM

Maybe if you trade for gear that you could never hope to find for yourself. If you play with what the game gives you, you wont have your problem.

Play without allocating any skill points and see how far your gear carries you.

As long as the drops are balanced 97 % around trading and 3 % around drops as it goes with the watcher's eyes, 'playing with what the game gives you' pretty much ends up shutting more builds for those who actually hate trading. But you know, screw it guys, because yadayada trade is important and it must simultaneously suck for the reason.
There's just no arguing about it, because actually nobody has made argument for the sheer absurdity of it. Yea 'for hardcore players' and for 'competitive purposes'. Don't give a flying ***. If you want trade so bad to be part of the game, why not make it fun for the players at least. Make it a minigame that is not a capitalist simulator on a browser site, for gods sake. He's right, though. GGG provides the tools, but it's up to us players to find our own fun. Cluster jewels really broke game. Almost any build is better with a cluster setup. Preferably two or three. The influenced rares are OP too but we had those in one form or another (shaper elder at first then fossils) for awhile. My whole goal ths thankgiving was trying to find cluster jewels I need to spec OUT of the tree

Why is this a bad thing / problem?
Your progress in the tree has a guaranteed stop at 100, 95 for most people. But they can keep progressing gear.. so? |
