Holding Passive points for Cluster Jewels

Hi,

I have been playing a Necro witch at Act 10 of standard league and recently (NOT within the last 4 seconds) learned that there exist cluster jewels that I can put in my passive skill tree. These jewels have nodes and notables which need to be allocated. From a quick glance at a couple minion builds I gathered that I might want to have one or two of these.

I am at level 73 and have not spent my last passive point for this reason. I have seen players at 90+ levels so I can expect at minimum another ~20 passive points.

So do I keep holding my passive points until I get the cluster jewel/s I want? I think we need to spend some 8 points for one right?

Any advice is appreciated.

It depends all on you honestly. Most of the time, people will spend those points in other areas on the tree, if it makes sense to, and then just refund those points with regrets once you get your cluster jewels.

Or, you can just hang onto the skill points and not spend them especially if your character is in good shape. Totally up to you. I tend to go the first route just because.
