any one know a good paladin style build, heavy plate armor, big shield, mabe 1 hand sword or wand. ??

Try out the gems that you personally think are "paladin style" and optimize the build on your own, why do you want to be spoon-fed a build? That's the opposite what this game's about.

Templar, mace, shield, stack auras, melee shit down.. perhaps grab something that does frenzy.

Auras, scepter and shield, elemental damage, templar area. Lightning strike would be the main skill for this one. I think dominating blow fits the theme as well. Enduring cry for extra survivability, some life regen...
