why are there only negative effects in map mods pool?

So, im really sick and tired of all the negative effects stacking up on maps and getting 1 shot from every mob possible. And don't tell me to run them white, when you can not sustain them and end up on doing tier 1's.

Does any one like that mechanic, that is old since the map system has been released and never touched on again?

why are there no positive effects, does the game have to be suffering and not fun.

could add minor positive mods for players, that take up negative spots, so we dont get all the dumb mods to die on.

5% player attack and cast speed? move speed etc. just to balance those mods out

The problem with adding positive mods, assuming of course GGG would even be willing to do this, is that they'd most likely not have any IIQ modifiers on them. This means that juicing maps for optimum loot is going to be more costly since otherwise useless positives are diluting the pool.

I don't see GGG ever adding good mods that buff you, much less ones that also increase map IIQ.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

Every single modifier already provides increased quantity, rarity and packsize. How is that not positive?
i dont like my balls being crushed in a grinder, that is not a positive for me, if you like it , dip in and enjoy, that is not a positive for me, if you stack atlas boss HP to 8 to get maps, mobs have auras, staked with more crit chance, less resists, you know the mods, its all stacked on stacked, and player defences still sux
I get fed up with the mumber of no regens I get when Vaaling, or else it's reflect of the type of damage that I do.

i rather have less IIQ from 1 less negative effect, than getting 1 shot, or completely unable to play the map at all, how many ppl have left because the map mods system is old as the game itself
So, other than quantity, pack size, etc which has been mentioned, you can roll positive mods on watchstones with sextants, and there are many different types of watchstones that offer many different benefits, and you can reroll maven stones, for even more benefits. Also maven points in the middle are positive effects on every map in that area.

If you are struggling with t14+ maps you could watch some streamers for tips. There are several very good game guides to help you understand the mechanics. You need multiple layers of defense in this game or you get 1 shot.

People get to level 100 in hardcore in this game in a few days, every league. So to say you cannot do maps cuz the mods are too hard is the wrong way to look at it. Just need to change your approach.

Hope this helps, this post is not meant to be mocking or sarcastic in any way.
lmao what even is this thread? OP can't possibly serious, can they?

If you don't want negative modifiers on maps, just run them white... the map affixes exist SOLELY to boost the rewards by making the map harder. It's not like map sustain is hard anymore, I think I average 6-8 maps back for each map I run, so if you're running them white you should still be getting 1-2.
Use chisel on the map and put some extra atziri map fragments in the device. All positive, no negative effects.
Positive modifiers on maps would defeat the entire purpose.

The only modifiers that should have been removed long ago are Reflect damage.

If you're close to leveling and running a Replica Abysus then roll a triple bonus Elemental map. You might want to just roll another map till you level then come back to it. Nothing special.

In theory I believe maps were supposed to be a softcap similar to Delve but just like Delve the scaling is kinda scuffed at this point. Well, Delve was never right in the first place. That's pretty much why they do leagues and why they nerf things that can break the softcap.

If you can complete the hardest possible content in the game. Then the game is over.
