A SMALL INDIE COMPANY

So i got hacker about 1 year ago ( My Steam Account) my poe account is gone since then GGG say that they apperently cant help its not like i payed multipel 100€ and there is a massiv paper trail proving i am me its not like there are multipel players that can confirm it its not like it wasnt linked to my steam account for multipel years right?

just wonderd if there are more ppl that straight up dont get the player support they can expect from such A SMALL INDIE company lamao

i apologize for my bad english hope this kinda randomly blows up tho and gives am at least some bad press idk just feel helpless and fucked over by a game company i once adored

i would just advise all of you to be carfull with you money when it comes to GGG

It sounds like your main gripe is with Steam. What are you asking GGG to do exactly?

got no hopes 2 get my account back at this point this is just me telling ppl GGG is a shit company 2 blow of some steam over my like 600€ account i lost

So someone hacked your steam account and I'm guessing your email as well that is associated with it. You're expecting GGG to restore your original account is what I gather.

It seems like if you had control over the email account associated with account you would be able to do it yourself; so I'm guessing you don't. So now you're trying to authenticate with them through other means (which likely could have also been hacked). How are they to know it's you and not some troll that hacked the real you?

I'm just playing devil's advocate here.

i wrot with them on my OG E-mail toled them i changed my steam log in and my email log in gave them a paper trail biger than africa 2 proof im me so yea idk what should i do visit them in person at this point xD

Protecting login details is a player's priority. Steam offers so many verification options (even a pin that prevents such actions, not to mention email or password).
The thing is, you got approached in all possible ways. Most of these happen because of downloading equal "helpful" tools not completely legal to play.

There are probably many more cases like yours, but you don't hear about them because 99% of these people know it's their fault. they doesn't blame anyone else but themself.
Moreover, when buying a TV or some other equipment, the store does not give you a guarantee (unless you buy insurance from another company that deals with it) that if someone steals your TV, they will refund your money or give you a new one. Because the protection of your data and things is your responsibility.

And good advice, don't blame others for your mistakes. Think about what you could have done to prevent this for the future. (don't give anyone a password, don't share an account even like it's a family. It's like handing your ID card around and tempting others to take a loan or something else for your credit)

Threads I post in either blow up or die real quick. It's a serious coin toss, but I hear you Exiles like a gamble so here goes.

Fwiw I have never had a problem with the swift and courteous service of GGG, and I'd put that down to the fucking embarrassing amount of money I threw their way if their swiftest and most courteous service hadn't been when putting me on probation. Multiple times.

I think we can condemn GGG for a number of things, but the boots on the ground in terms of customer service really are some of the best I've encountered.
