What do casters have thats equiv to arm/eva?

ES? Additive, so you need like 3 times your HP as ES to compete.
Recoup life? LOL MoM? Same as ES. A lot of the stuff helps vs oneshots, but is lacking so ridiculously far behind wrt. EHP. All my casters run Grace and don't have an evasion node in sight. Also no Spell Suppression in sight. It's not generally much of a problem, but for spam-monster-leagues like Ultimatum/Scourge, the state of casters is pretty stupid. Being a caster has nothing to do with what type of defenses you can run. As in, literally nothing, at all. Casters can have block, armor, evasion, suppression, etc just like attack builds. Energy shield and Mind Over Matter are aligned with INTELLIGENCE stacking builds, but that has zero to do with using spells vs attacks.
It seems to me that you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how character building works, I'd suggest trying to find a new players guide. |
