This is Game Design 101, which is why pulling HOGM from the atlas was objectively a mistake. Just look at... well, almost ANY unique map. Would anyone in the world actually run Whakawairua / Pillars of Arun / Hallowed Ground / Death and Taxes if those didn't give Atlas/Awakening bonuses? Nobody I know would, my guild gets a full party together so that we only have to run them once per league because it is our collective opinion that the content is garbage. But we still run it because there is a reward, in the form of Atlas and Awakening Bonuses. Content doesn't always have to have a big reward, but it does have to have ANY reward. Again, Game Design 101 here.

Death and Taxes has currency drops, it regularly drops divine orbs for me so I don't mind running it if I need currency.

also having to pay a runner 5c every league to run HOGM for me isn't engaging, HOGM by design cannot be done by a large # of builds, some can do it by just slapping a reduced block support into their links, but others will be hard blocked by things like CI.

leave it as is, a hall of supporters who helped POE financially.
Removing it from Atlas must be the only good move they've done in a while.
As someone who actually bought a supporter pack to have a grandmaster made for that map (it's a bad one, you're welcome), I'm glad I no longer have one map laughing me in the face on the Atlas that I can't possibly complete. It should be a bonus level that was designed for funsies, not something taken seriously that you're supposed to complete.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

terrible map that requires specific build to success it
Hall of the Grandmasters is I think THE only if not one of the only places in the game where "House of Mirrors" can drop.

There is your reason to run it.

See previous post. Or don't, and just use some critical thinking:

HOGM is currently worth (slightly less than) one chaos. House of Mirrors is worth more than three thousand chaos. If you could get even one card per every 500 HOGM maps, either the map would be worth more or mirrors would be worth less because that's how an open market works.

But, again, because somehow people still aren't getting the core issue: in the present version of PoE, there is literally no reason or reward for running this SPECIFIC map. That is a problem.

And not that it matters to this discussion, but for your own future reference: Uber Atziri is by far the best way to farm House of Mirror cards, other than Stacked Decks which really should just be taken out of the game because they defeat the entire point of divination cards.
