Can apply still shock even with Elemental Focus

Good day,

i searched in reddit and on pathofexile.com. I found serveral threads, but nowhere was a usefull answer about that.

I describe now the following situation:

I shoot the enemy with my lightning arrow, after that the shock picture under the enemy appears.
On the picture there is a number displayed for example 40. That means the enemy takes 40 increased damage.

Now directly after that lightning arrow shoot, I use my barrage shoot. In my barrage setup there is a elemental focus linked. So in theory I shouldnt be able to inflict any shock. But when I use barrage now, there is still that shock picture on the enemy.

The next funny thing is now, if I use only my barrage with elemental focus. The shock picutre appears again, but with small number like 15-19 max!!!

Maybe its a bug, but I cant explain that myself.
