The Most Important way to deal with the new content's tough content: Flasks.

Okay. I've been lurking threads related to people who want to play Scourge but are losing hope, and I try to give some advice when and where I can, such as telling people to get Block (without Glancing Blows), but here's a real reason to:

The Most Powerful Flask mods in the game are actually mods that work in Unison with Blocking.

If you aren't aware, GGG has added Tiers to Flask mods, and only certain mods are available beyond a certain level. I know.... tiers have existed in gear forever, but I really think people overlook such a detail on flasks.

This is what I crafted today:

I also have a Granite Flask with Tier 2 Charges on Block, which is 6 charges on being hit, that has Spell Vamp during effect.

What's really important here: Blocking counts as a a Hit.

In other words, a whole string of these babies is basically a free Magebind Belt, and can apply both during maps and during bosses, because you're going to get hit.

It's far more economic than charges on crit or even Pathfinder Flasking. It's more sound than investing in Duration.

The only thing it doesn't beat: Increased Effect (That's literally the only reason to use a Magebind)

It also works well with Instilling Orb mods "Use when you BlocK" or "Use at end of Flask Effect" because you will always have flask charges.

-----------------

T1 of this mod takes Ilevel 80, so don't get stuck in that symptom of just keeping the Flasks you get while leveling.

It's generally worth getting ilevel 84, because mods like Increased Armor during Flask effect cap out there, as does Curse effect.

----------------

It's also far better to put mods that mitigate Ele Ailments or Bleeding/Corrupted Blood on your Life Flasks, as they have up to a 17 second duration immunity to the status, whereas Utility Flasks always have Less duration attached to them now, and for a MUCH shorter duration.

This mod + "uses when on full charges" = you will never have to use flasks again during mapping.

Pretty much. I'm always full on those two flasks on bosses. And I use Tempest shield so my boss fights are REALLY LONG.
-1 for lack of quality on the flask.

Seriously though, thanks for posting!

No Problem. I just got in a hurry after testing it. Kind of funny to stand still Face tanking A8 Al Hezmin and Veritania, only to have their entire kit only get through My ES before I recover it all, and flask timers just keep resetting. Infinite loop until dead.
This has already been covered last month. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUoVzY-zBzw
But it a useful and good post because it is probably a vastly underutilized mechanic.

Tnx for posting, this will surely be helpful
Also, against 3-shots use this:

If you don't have chaos resist, an amethyst flask used when adiacent flask is used, can help:
