Nerfed support gems?

I just noticed a lot of the support gems took a huge nerf, do they ever explain why this happened? They chopped off 20% to a majority of them, like Elemental Damage with Attacks went down to 39% max. Close Combat Support nerf isn't even reflected in the Poe Wiki yet, still says 59% when it's really 39%. Some of them I'm not sure if they did get a nerf like Ruthless Blow is at 98% but I don't remember what it was before.

it's explained in the 3.15 Patch notes I believe. They wanted to tone player power down basically.

in short, each league we get power creep, so from time to time we need something to compensate for it.

The wiki is heavily outdated. I can only assume there are not enough content editors willing to update the site. I've started referencing PoEDB more and more.

New and Changed Skill Gems in Path of Exile: Expedition
Short answer: Nearly every support gem in the game. Pure damage and/or popular gems got hit the hardest. |
