Quartz infusion?

Haven't used this it a while, and last time it just gave me phasing.
Now it doesn't, it just procs it randomly and doesn't say when or why.
Internal cd? Kill mobs? Use flask? wtf...?? So random

My char model is normal solid and I can't walk through enemies unless it procs, and there's no way of figuring out the conditions.

It is permanent, and it does not show the buff on your character as people complained that it was hiding their MTXs.
~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.
I do have noclip on all the time, but only after kills does the phasing visual proc like this

So what's the deal now since it removes MTX anyways?
Well I don't have any, just the challenge bow, and it too seems to get overwritten by the phasing glow like my entire model...

Why isn't it just on all the time? Like this icon in the screenshot, without a timer, just saying "you have phasing"?

So confusing...
Why proc the visuals via kills? Make some sense?
Other sources of Phasing, such as from flasks or on kill effects, can still proc even with the perma-phasing. Same goes for Onslaught.

But the flask + onslaught effects don't stack? You can't "phase harder" and onslaught has a fixed base effect too right?

I'm just trying to come up with a clearer view.
If a player picks quartz asc, he knows he has perma noclip on.
The icon could show up on top, without time limit.
Char model is normal too, not "sparkly".
Onslaught should be showing too as a permanent buff icon since you have it all the time with rapid assault asc.

Why have the same stuff proc at this point and add confusing temporary buff icons for them? If I got them, I don't need the procs from other sources because they don't do anything for me? Why can't they just disable them all at this point?
Icons for the permanent versions no longer served any useful purpose at all, seeing as how the effects are permanent and always on. The temporary versions can sometimes come with other effects though, which is why they get their icons. They're still useful for seeing the duration of those buffs when there are additional effects involved.

Phase Run is a very good example of that. It gives Phasing, movespeed, and stealth for the primary buff, and it also has the secondary melee damage buff. The phasing part itself has no additional effect since you already have perma-phasing, but the other parts still work fine.
