Crashing on The hall of Grandmasters

This crash is still persisting. 5 portals all to crashes.

This is still happening. I just made 6 attempts, all ended in crashes at the final stage. On PC

Hi, the issue persists for me as well.

This just happened to me today and I was unable to complete the map due to this bug forcing me to use up all my portals.

Try this -->
1. Run packcheck.exe as "an administrator" / In steam select "Verify game files".
2. Delete the local PoE cache files here -->
C:\Users\"your windows account name"\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile\
3. Now start PoE again as "an administrator". When at the login screen, select options.
4. Now set texture to MEDIUM and Sound channels to low.
5. See if the issue is resolved ?

Depending if you use DX11, Vulcan or DX12 (beta) then try changing between them.

Crash for me as well, last phase. Unsure which NPC, but assume it is related. Running on Steam Deck.

Crash still very much exists. Since the NPCs were able to attack me from off screen, I never really got a look at who was there.

#1 All files validated without needing to be replaced.

#2 Deleted

#3 Games don't require elevated rights. Period. It is a bug in and of itself to require someone to run a game as administrator, for any reason.

#4 If lowering audio and graphical settings "resolves" the issue, that is a confirmation that the issue exists, not a fix for the issue. At best, it suggests that those specific options shouldn't be capable of being set to values higher than what you described in the first place.


How does a known, consistently reproducible, game-crashing bug persist in a game of this scale for more than a year?

Crashing here too seem like a specific boss maybe, crashed 3x on one of the paths.

Also one of the paths just like disconnected me not sure why, also so much bad fps spikes.

I ignored that path and was able to fight the rest without crashing
