General's cry warriors and devastator notable passive skill
Hello
I am playing general’s cry/shield crush build and I use a large cluster jewel with “devastator” skill but I don’t see any explodes. Does “Enemies Killed with Attack Hits have a 15% chance to Explode, dealing a tenth of their Life as Physical Damage” from devastator work with general’s cry warriors? I don't think it works with GC's Shadow warriors. I use the Sporeguard body and the explode ability has "you kill" wording, which exclude Shadows and minions. The wording is different for the Devastator notable, but it might also be a "You kill" skill/ability.

It is quite simple. Nothing intrinsically applies to your minions. Only when specifically stated (such as minions do x, or x% increased minion damage) do mods apply to your minions.

"GC Warriors aren't even minions though. And while many on kill effects don't work with the Warriors, some definitely do. There's a list of some that do and don't work on the Wiki, but it's far from complete or thorough. I have a GC Dominating Blow Guardian I was playing around with some time ago, lurking in my char list somewhere. They do indeed summon Sentinels with DB, but they can't proc Sentinels from Herald of Purity. They can, however, proc the overkill burning from Herald of Ash. What they can and can't do seems really inconsistent. I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

Fair enough, my bad.
It does seem to be very inconsistent, would love to see the logic behind what is and isn't inherited by mirage warriors. |

Back to the topic.
From time to time, I can hear explosion sound but there are 0 visual effects. After running, some tests here are my conclusions: - After an explosion happens the nearby mobs take damage - Even if a nearby mob is killed by this damage it is not considered as “Enemies Killed with Attack Hits” so no chain explosions. This notable helps a bit with clearing but it is far away, from what I was hoping for. |
