Cold Snap not casting

Hi,
So it happened twice. I wanted to test Cold Snap since I used it in 2013 and was not convinced, now with Vaal Cold Snap I am pretty sure I will keep it. Though, twice, I tried to cast the spell and it did not appear. but the CD triggered. My char was encircled by mobs, which would make me think I was interrupted. Which is possible. But for this character as for all my characters, it never happened to me. I mean, being interrupted does not trigger the CD right ? This time I was testing the Vaal Cold Snap + ES Leech support (I just wrote a topic for that in the Gameplay category) and let mysef encircle by monsters to test the effects. Cold Snap hasn't been cast but the CD triggered, which made me panic a bit. That's ok. As I haven't experienced this problem with any other char nor skills, I thought I may report this, in case people had the same issue. I don't know if this is a bug but if it is related to Cold Snap it may be useful that I report my bad experience. If this is useless then just forgive me. I will pay more attention next time to see if it happens again. " when you get "interrupted" the skill can not be cast but BECAUSE you did start the cast sequence, then CD is activated. Also this post have nothing to do with a TECH issue. Either you want to report a bug and put it into the bug section, or you are asking a game "question" and therefor put it into the game help section.... I have seen this bahavior on many skill however depending on your build type, you may be more or less inclined to get "interrupted". Last edited by HanSoloDK#4843 on Nov 2, 2021, 12:11:31 PM

" Hi, Sorry for late reply. Yes, as I've said, this have not happened before in any of my years of gameplay, for any character, for any skills. I clarify : I usually "know" when I'm interrupted, I use often CD skills, and some spammable ones, but for the CD ones I never had this issue, generally the character begins an animation for casting the skills/spell and mana points are consumed, which, for this particular one, was not the case. That's why I "know" it may be an issue. At least, I'm no expert in animation and graphical engines (I'm more of a core programer) , but I believe you cannot get interrupted if the character has not began the skill casting animation, I mean, it even did not consume mana points... so... I don't know dude. I think this might be an issue so I posted it there and it has been moved. I just wanted to know if other players had this issue. I may be wrong in my asumptions though.
