Minion Defense Masteries

Personally I find the minion defense Masteries very lackluster. There is nothing worth using a passive point for most minion builds, though life on minion death could be very interesting in a niche builds...I just can't think of any. Nonetheless, I'd like to see more interesting mechanics overall.
  • Convocation's recall effect affects temporary minions
  • 50% reduced elemental ailment duration on minions / 50% reduced effect of chill and shock on minions
  • Action speed of minions cannot be modified to below base value
  • Minions have +50% increased chaos resistance
  • 10% damage taken by minions is shared amongst other nearby minions instead
  • Minions are affected by your guard skills as well

I'd like if Blessed Rebirth, as a cluster jewel passive, was instead moved into a minion defense mastery.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

Good idea, though it would have to be without the 20% increased life. If I had to guess GGG considers cluster jewels versatile enough.
Unless someone can give me a good reason otherwise I'm of the firm opinion that the Link skills work on minions should not apply to skeletons or anything else that is up on a timer.

Edit: in case anyone doesn't get why, if timer on skelly or something else like raging spirit expires you die because it dies.

Double Edit: The main reason I mention this as a problem is when you mix and match minions and would put a link skill on say a golem but you also use skeletons as an example and you link to skely rather then golem by accident then it poofs with timer.

Tripple Edit: just realised that it's also a big problem if someone else with you is using minions you would rather not link.

Ah yes, another good one if for nothing more than triggers. I actually want to come up with a hybrid build utilizing links to trigger damaging skills, maybe with Zombies and Spectres. I just think that targeting would be difficult to maintain with the duration. I could realistically get it up to ~30-40s without going overboard or wasting a support on ID. It'd need high mana sustain. It's essentially a mobile totem build. Should be able to easily grab 10-15 tanky minions.
