Liege of the Primordial re-summoning wrong golem (answered - caused by Clayshaper)
No matter which of my golem dies, it's always a stone golem that gets re-summoned.
I was running with 1 stone golem, 1 chaos golem and 3 carrion golems. Whenever the chaos golem or a carrion golem died(or vanished), a new stone golem was summoned. I say "vanished" since I was running a lower level zone to level a gem and I'm not sure how the golems could have died. So, I'm wondering if the problem isn't that Liege could have re-summoned a stone golem when none had died which ended up removing my oldest summoned golem, as if I had manually summoned a new stone golem when I'm at max summoned golems. As a test, I tried running with 5 carrion golems and, after a while, my carrion golems were getting replaced by stone golems(which I never summoned but have the gem in my gear). It’s not a bug and has nothing to do with Liege of the Primordial.
You have a CWDT in your Clayshaper. |

I did some more tests and, indeed, I realized it's caused by my clayshaper and realized it was summoning the stone golem from the weapon(which doesn't have the same support gem icons).
The CWDT triggers the mod on the weapon? That's a bit unexpected and unintuitive... I guess I'll try moving my trigger gem to another piece of gear. Thanks for the quick reply! |

Support gems always support item-granted skills if socketed into the item.
This is key for build-enabling items such as Arakaali's Fang and Ngamahu's Flame. |

That's good to know.
I would have expected to see a mention in one of the tooltip somewhere but now I'll know! Thanks for the info! |
