How do I craft a Cluster Jewel?

I am on craftofexile messing around with a suggested cluster jewel to see the best way to go about it.
I first started with Alterations into Regal, however the chances of me getting the 3 Passives recommended this way is... so low I cannot even consider it. Then there is Chaos spamming. Getting 3 of what I want out of a possibility of 4 is more likely.. but much more expensive. Is there a third way I don't know about to craft clusters better? I was "told" in the guide that these are relatively easy to make. So, I must be missing something. Send help please. I am 300 chaos deep on craft and I still haven't seen 2 of the 3 affixes I want on it, let alone all 3. There has to be a secret. Its not that hard.
Note all 3 min ilvl for the desired notables you wish to roll and buy a cluster jewel with the correct ilvl. Dont go any higher than needed to avoid diluting the mod pool. You want to exclude higher ilvl notables as much as possible to increase the odds of rolling the desired ones. Then figure out if there are notables sharing the exact same tags and if there are undesired notables with those tags. Like caster or speed or whatever it is. Find the tag thats matching your notables the best while also matching as few undesired mods as possible. Then head over to the craft of exile emulator, select the cluster with the correct ilvl and spam the equivalent harvest craft like reroll caster or speed. I have no experience with harvest.. I don't even know where to begin or how to collect the right craft..
Or which craft I would need lol Okay, so. I sort of figured it out with CraftofExile. It took About 70 attempt with the right Harvest mod. The question is, how do I get that many attempts and how ridiculously expensive is that? Trying to figure out if it is just cheaper to buy it, and if it is cheaper.. Why? If it is so hard to make?.. Harvest are free off charge ingame, you just have to find them and they do spawn at a 8% chance per map.
You can increase those odds, if you specialise into Harvest stuff in the appropriate Harvest region. Haework Hamlet in this case. It will spawn the Sacred Grove more often and with more powerful/numerous crafts. Go inside the Grove, select a crop you wish to harvest, kill the mobs it will spawn and then use the crafts it provides. You dont need a perfect 3 notable cluster right away. Settle for a cluster with 2 notables, buy another one and keep crafting it until you get what you wanted. |

Dont the harvests take currency to craft?
When I do see them, they have a Chaos, a Regal, and sometimes and Exalt icon on the top left corner. Do they not consume those and just use the icon as a rule of how that craft works? As like, it simulates those currencies? |

Nope it just indicates what the craft does.
It will behave just like if you were using those currencies but its still free. |

Cluster Jewel crafting is like any other form of crafting. You plan backwards. I haven't the faintest clue what clusters you want, but if you were for example grabbing 12% increase physical damage base and wanted Battle-Hardened as one of your passives, fun you would note that it is the only one with a defense tag to it. This means you would craft the other two notables, make sure to have an open prefix, and then Harvest augment with a defensive mod. Likewise, Grim Oath is the only Chaos mod. To get Furious Assault you can augment caster (need to twice if the first adds attack/cast speed to small passives).
If you list the mod you are wanting, I can take a look. I'm nowhere near the best at crafting, but I have a handle on the basic principles and always like the puzzle of figuring out the process. |

You can visit The Forbidden Trove on Discord for people buying/selling Harvest crafts. The going rate seems to be about 50c - 1ex for each of the crafts. This will drop drastically later in league, but so will the overall value of the cluster jewel. I would also recommend having someone double check I didn't screw up. I also won't gaurantee this is the cheapest method, but it should still be cheaper than purchasing and has very little RNG involved.
Assuming you are in trade league stat with a base:
Furious Assault
Battle-Hardened
Order for Furious Assault and Battle-Hardened doesn't matter. Optional Implicit
