So if you enter a zone with herald of thunder already active, you cannot gain EO with it, that's my experience with it, Whenever I reactivate it my herald of thunder is able to proc EO

Hi GGG,
can you please comment on this issue? I made the same experience already mentioned here: if I turn off and on HoT, EO is applied, but after some time not at all or at least very rarely while having 5.6% crit chance on HoT. Is it just a visual bug or is EO not applied at all? I would structure my build differently if I would get more insides. Thanks |

As workaround I'm switching off and on HoZ in each new map and each time I have a loading screen in the mine. Have more or less 100% uptime of EO now.

bump because this is most definitely a bug, and not a visual error.
I am running the HoT storm secret build with EO. EO will straight up not proc, unless I switch my Herald of Thunder off, then on again, as the users above me have highlighted. This is *not just visual*. |

Bump.
It really does seem like the only way to mitigate this bug is to turn HoT on and off again after each and every loading screen. It feels really unintuitive and unfairly punishing to lose a 40% more multiplier just because I forgot to compensate for this bug. Makes me feel really bad about my disability :/ |

That's weird I don't seem to be getting this bug, maybe it has something to do with HoT's interactions with other items / pasives?
Can I get some videos of what people are running + their HoT crit chance? Mechanic Misconception:
Are your minions "randomly dying"? Do you have the Fleshcrafter unique equipped? If you answered "Yes" to both of these, high chance is that your minions have over 50% chaos resistance, converting 100% of their HP into ES, killing them. |

I have tested it in multiple maps now have 13% crit chance with 7,7 hits per second and i got 0 EO procs.
turning it off and on again didn't make it proc either.. GGG Please look into this. Sincerely, random customer. |

Ok I found something, maybe it was just me being blind,but:
The small diamond icon is not on the icon at the top your screen, it appears down at the toolbar, where you see your active aura spell, put in on a button so u can activate/deactivate it. and there u will see the little diamond icon (EO PROC). It's won't appear at the top bar with the other skills/auras. Hope this helps. |
