♥ Looking to trade some of my HC Ex for your SC @1:2 [done]

Careful

I wanted to buy a big amount of GCPs from him HC -> SC. I told him I insisted on a mediator or that he would pay first. He gave me some bullshit about references. I argued that this is why my reputation should be enough.

People have traded me way higher amounts than your 22,5 gcps.

Your reputation? Sorry, I do not know who you are, and have never seen you.

If my references are not enough - do not PM me.

"
He then accused me of ('obviously') trying to scam him. A no would have been enough, but accusations like that are uncalled-for. I would stay away from an unpredictable person like that.

What goes through my mind:
>Asks for a middle man, although people have traded way more currency than he wants.
>He's really scared that I will scam. Or he's trying to scam me.
>The latter seems more of the case.

Yes, it's an accusation, but not a blind one. Plus I will not "lick" your ass to trade my currency. I will call anyone out if I see something shady.

"
Don't trade with people like that if you intend not to get scammed. Make sure you are 100% safe. There is no rule that states scamming is not allowed so insist on a mediator if you are dealing with potential scammers like this.

I have no interest in scamming anyone. I have my standards and am a honest person. I cannot prove my dignity through internet. You can call me a "potential scammer", sure. Not to sound too offensive, but seems that you're just a butthurt guy who thinks that everyone knows who you are. Making a fuss about nothing, quite an elitist, eh.

Have a nice day, sir.

Again,

buyer asks to buy HC gcps

seller says ok

buyer then says he can only accept a popular streamer as a mediator or receive the goods upfront

seller says no because some random and anonymous people allegedly vouched for him

buyer says he must insist or we have no deal

seller - instead of just saying no - starts to accuse the buyer of making an obvious scam attempt with a popular streamer as a mediator?

Yet, there is no reason not to use a mediator, unless the seller is being the one shady. Careful, people. Everyone can create accounts or ask friends to vouch for them. They might even just do it out of kindness.

There is no reason not to use a mediator. It literally takes one minute. So, instead of just saying "No", seller accuses buyer? What purpose does this serve? I don't need any explanation. I only need to know if you insist on making a trade that is not safe. Then I know you are one of the biggest suspects of scamming people.

Accusing the buyer of scamming is exactly what a scammer would do. By the way, out of completeness, OP asked me to screenshot this!

I don't know why he did that but if anyone is curious. Also 'coming from you' is oddly phrased. If you are going to accuse me of scamming you, deal with me taking it personally. At least I gave you a heads-up, in hopes we could just dicuss it out like 'honorable men'.

Just making a point. I had a few offering to just head out lie that you scammed them. That is how much any vouch from a person whose opinion I have not learned to respect counts for me. If a buddy or a buyer comes in and writes something about you it is meaningless to me. You ask an acquaintance to write something to a link and yes, most of them will be nice, if it does not cross a line for them.

Don't get me wrong, I am not interested in trading anymore. Just saving some people the time - I know none of my friends would trade with a person who would insist not to trade with a trust-worthy mediator.

1. I do not know who you are. You are just a "random person" to me.
2. You did not "offer" popular streamer as a middle man. You just said "mediator". Plus I don't care if they are popular or not.
3. Your insist on having a middle man is shady, that's all. I didn't offend your mother or anything, no need to make a fuss about it.

The same can be said about middle man.

Your middle man is just as "random" as "random" people vouching for me.

I would say that to any random person who's asking me to go first, or wants a middle man (which can be his friend and scam that way). What's so weird about it? Do you really think that everyone knows who you are?

"Honorable men"? Calling in buddies to call me a "scumbag" doesn't seem honorable action to me. Oh, sorry, another accusation coming from me? Well yes, sorry for being a slave to logic - I can't think of any other reason why would someone write "scumbag" towards me, while I am being a honest person in game - giving back currency if someone gives too much, or lowering the price for item if they offer too high.

But I can thank you for taking me off of a farming. That is boring indeed, but this is refreshing to "argue" with ego-centric person.

Was hoping for more replies - to see how far the guy can go with his lies and hypocrisy. What a disappointment.

I appreciate it.

I cannot prove any of my vouches to be genuine replies from other people that contacted me with a wish to exchange their currency.

But I can prove the fact that I have no interest in scamming one or few Exalted/GCPs. I have 20+Exalted worth of currency atm (not counting all the items/gems/uniques), and am maintaining a (small) currency shop in HC League.

" your reputation is enough? "

It's his way of doing things, I wispered him about transfering 6 exalts to HC from SC, gave him my stuff upfront, and the trade was done in less than 5 mins, It's been the same for everyone who's ever used him, don't soil HIS reputaion by trash talking his way of doing busines, if you want to acuse someone of wanting to scam you, its that ItradeHCtoSC guy that you need to thrash on, not this guy.

I'll be using him again and again through my days, Don't put what he's doing to shame please, seriusly.
