(LATENCY ISSUE) I think my latency is spiking by certain mobs?

Having the same issue in logs that says "FMOD MISSING EVENT"

Levelling through acts 1-10 have no issue on latency whatsoever but when i entered mapping there goes my latency then disconnect. First time i thought the issue was in maps/zones but after running that certain laggy map i have come to a conclusion that the latency issue comes from the mobs. Also, I'm having the same issue with this guy in logs that says "FMOD MISSING EVENT"

I started playing the league on a fresh install and noticed huge latency spikes which I just thought were caused by the server.
On Saturday I still had lag spikes from time to time. I then started just waiting for them to go away, which didn't happen. No matter how long I waited it wouldn't go away so naturally I checked my bandwidth usage and all of it was used up by PoE (my connection is bad, mind you). Running around a bit and looking at my latency and bandwidth usage it seemed to be area specific.
I noticed that it only happened in certain areas of a given map or zone and wouldn't go away until I either killed a given pack or got away far enough for it to unload.
Looking into the log file and talking to a friend who had similar issues and asking him to look into his log I noticed that a number of "FMOD MISSING EVENT" errors was being created by, apparently, missing or corrupted sound events which I assume then prompted those lags. That'd also explain the area specific nature of it all.

Noticed that there are lots of players posting in the technical forums in this issue.Let me know your opinion, guys. I use a wired connection, already reinstalled, using a VPN, restarted my whole house still nothing works, sadly.

Can relate. I'm also getting "FMOD MISSING EVENT" and my winMRT shows some PL near the end of the line.

I'm just spamming heist and other content until they fixed it hopefully :/

I have the same exact problem. It seems unaffected by the client as i have reinstalled, tried with all default settings, tried pretty much every combination of settings, cleared the cache and shaders, and still nothing.

I dont know if it was fixed but i dont have the problem anymore.. it seems to have coincided wtih me switching builds though. I was playing Ziz's poison phys trapper so it might be one of the spells like exsanguinate or something.

NVM i flushed my DNS for other reasons and its back... feelsbadman.
