Multistrike + Infernal Blow not applying a debuff stack on each hit

Hello GGG, This interaction is very visible when doing a test with brutality socketed on. On one hand, if you socket in Multistrike, it´ll only apply a Debuff on each click of a Multistrike. On the other hand, if you play without Multistrike, hits apply a Debuff on each hit without any issue.

It´s been a couple leagues where this bug has been in the game and I was wondering when it´ll get fixed since I love playing this skill and it is lacking a lot of single target damage because of this bug.

It is the same case for critical strikes. It is as intended. Dont trust the wiki, there's like only half of the information on it. Multistrike only applies the on hit effect on the first hit. It was explained leagues ago in relation to on hit support gems.

I was looking through the forum as I encountered the same issue during playing/testing.

While it may very well be intentional I cannot find any source from GGG to outright state this. The wording on the skills doesn't really help either.

Just because it is stated on a player controlled wiki, doesn't make it so. Even if it's not a bug but an intended feature, it is - imho - something to consider changing.

Edit: I've given this some more thought and if my math is correct supporting infernal blow with multistrike results in an actual DPS loss rather than gain. The main skill does more damage, but this damage is nullified by the loss in debuff DPS.

I've raised an issue over on the Path of Building github as well, as I believe the current PoB implementation also doesn't account for repeats to not apply the debuff:
