Quick question, why astramentis?

seems like using an unique amulet makes it really hard to get decent resists, plus we could potentially get a pretty decent amulet for ES with some moderate crafting maybe?

I've never levelled with this build, so I can't guarantee the quality of gameplay at this moment.
I'm currently testing the Rage Vortex version in juicy T16 to improve it the best I can. Tankiness is ok, but DPS is not great. It's fun to play (because Jedi) but it's not meta, by far.

This said, for levelling, I'd go first to MoM, then Elemental Overload, then Heart of Thunder, then go down to Berserking (if you go Rage Vortex).
The build is mostly a matter of stacking Intelligence, ES and Mana.

And at the moment, the Lightning Strike version is safer to play. I still need to improve the Rage Vortex setup.

That could be a Blue Pearl amulet, for mana regen as implicit.
But assuming you get max ES roll on the amulet (+flat and inc max), you are way below Astramentis DPS-wise (I've just made a simulation in PoB).

+120 to all attributes with Astramentis is massive, because Intelligence grants ES and Mana, which are more life for us. And through Crown of the Inward Eye, this is more DPS.

Maybe equip a rare belt and only when you've got enough res elsewhere, use the Cyclopean Coil.

Yea, so far things are going well.
Damage is pretty decent at the moment, survivability is a bit weak still though, what would you consider the core things to get in order to stay alive?

I often have stun and freeze issues. So completing Major Pantheon of the Brine King should be useful.
I need to do that, btw.

Also, I've realized that the Cyclopean Coil makes you immune to Shock and Ignite (provided your STR > DEX), so it's important, too.
Eldritch Battery can be good when paired with MoM, and even better with Corrupted Soul, because any dmg you receive is split between ES and life, while you leech bot (make sure you have life, mana and ES leech).

Also, someone on Reddit suggested me to use the new Ghostwrithe body armour (+50% chaos res, half of your life is converted to ES).

I actually used the Ghostwrithe for leveling up until I got my 6 links, it helped A TON, but haven't thought about using it in the final build due to the resist cap. Will take a look at this modified tree then

On Reddit, someone asked me whether this build is doable with 40 divines in league.
Here is a quick, estimated, budget :

TL;DR : yes, it is possible.

- A 6L 2h weapon : 5c
- A 700ES 6L body : 3 divines OR : 6L Ghostwrithe : 2 divines
- Astramentis amulet : 50c
- Crown of the Inward Eye : 10c
- Cyclopean Coil belt and Shaper's gloves : 2c
- Lethal Pride timeless jewel of Akoya : 15c (for the Rage Vortex version) OR Glorious Vanity of Doryani (for the Lightning Strike version) : 20c

A you can see, the only expensive item is the body armour. Rest of the stuff is quite affordable. I haven't taken the cluster jewels into account, but I'm sure a 40 div budget is more than enough to get going.
