[316] Spectre Bank -PvP Character-

We all know how FUN and THRILLING it is to create a new character, and in this case it's simply to get to level 28 to use the raise spectre gem and enough skill point for death attunement...
Removing this ability so we can't do spectre bank why ? The ability to make spectre bank is still present , this is a huge inconvenience that's what this change cause a huge inconvenience... Some spectres are hard and rare to get , losing it because you didn't bank it away is really not fun and tedious to get back , especially at the start of a league when you're struggling to get some of them and limited cause you don't have huge amount of ressources to just go back in there and get it back in case you lost them. Now you want me to create a new character level it up to 28 for the only purpose of carrying those spectres like it used to be. So the only purpose this change serves is annoying the shit out of the summoners community , wasting everyones time and hating the leveling process even more. Please revert this change. Constructive Suggestion:
If you really want to remove the PvP Characters... Fine. Here's an alternative to that. Add an option to the Menagerie to store raise spectre gems with their Data on it so we can physically see our spectres in the menagerie cages. A drop down list where we can see all of our spectres associate to their corresponding Spectre Gems that we can then select summon a copy of the spectre with desecrate and use it with our main spectre gem. Another Idea is a list of all of the spectres we have summoned using raise spectre during our normal gameplay and in the Menagerie we will see that "hidden" list which we can then filter out / remove those spectres we don't want anymore (like accidental summons when trying to get a hard/rare spectre), from then on we can activate / deactivate our spectres from that list and they become the active one. NO WAY am i going to spend 1-2-3 hours every league from now on to make spectre banks (1 character = 2 spectres) With Scourge you've added even more spectres options we currently have at least 12 spectres which are decent alternatives to playstyle. based on 1 hour per characters that's 6 hours of just nonsensical quality content.... instead of a few simple clicks (and character slots) to make banks. |

Pff maybe u wanna have all spectres already banked right after league start. Play minions is superfriendly and very easy, so if u wanna bank just level 28 level character by urself and get ur bank. Ez banking by pvp is superstupid and and supereasy. OFC pvp chars must be ingame but They must be not able to raise spectres and its gonna be fair.

Problem is not solved. Wasting half of the day to get a char for spectre bank is not ok.

How about some builds that totally rely on constantly using a set of potions almost non-stop, can't use said potions in PVP? Maybe you should go back to complaining on how its the game engine and totally NOT your PC that's making your game run slow and having texture issues instead of just jumping into a discussion and immediately bringing nothing to the table but snide remarks and a pseudo gatekeeping attitude. |

The actual issue is that even the pvp spectre bank was a jenky work around for a problem that has existed since we were able to summon spectres.
Spectres are used by a whole slew of different builds, not just pure spectre builds. You put the time and effort into finding and "capturing" the spectre, only to lose it to a server restart or desecrate tables clearing. The proper solution, which should have been implemented as soon as they gave us the raise spectre skill, is to provide a spectre banking system of some sort. Like a bench, or hideout area/cage, or area in the menagerie... or anything really, that stores our "captured" spectres and never loses them. i only play standard and have a bank character set up that is level 80. when 3.16 hit with the skill tree changes, i lost my 4 spectres i had in my bank. 2 were super easy to get back but the other 2 are not. that said, i'm not concerned about them anymore only due to a league player giving me his necro build which is Kay's Skeleton Mages Skelemancer that only uses chieftains and arena master which are easy to get.
it would be really nice if there was an ingame system to store/bank them as well as a way to identify/list what spectres you are running with as some look very similar poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead
