IKR u knows there is somethings wrong with league mobs when my juggernaut that face tank everything is story mode, die to a bunch of white league monster and yes those deathbeam and blood ball bs hurt like crazy. I also find some scourge mob hurt so much but some seem fine???? what is this

Reward was real garbo too especially when u put weapon that u wish to use boom add fire damage and cant deal fire damage on tier 3 ahahahahahahahah

I like the idea of being able to push your luck by combining Scourge league mechanics with other league mechanics, unfortunately, it's not worth a risk at all.

This league's main reward structure is to feed you with some scuffed 6L's and then there is a big pause, basically whenever you reach the end-game gear state and have additional end-game level items to push your luck with.

I would honestly rather play Expedition league properly on this patch and have Scourge league already part of the core so I can take advantage much later stage of the game.

I've been interacting with league mechanics since the start of the campaign, got all the way to red-maps with maximum interaction and it seriously feels like a complete waste of my time. I'm gonna skip it until I have end-game items to throw at it, the mods that roll on your maps after 2 eternities later are also completely irrelevant.

I'm not after insane loot explosions, but cmon that's really down below any standard for the fresh league.

I don't claim to be anything else but average when it comes to PoE but never have I ripped so often and so quickly as the nightmare mode in this league. And I haven't quite reached maps. Told you I was average.

And for what reward? Zip. I'll persevere until maps and see what changes but I don't hold out much hope for that.

Would I be right in saying that mob density in general has been ramped up in this league? Just seems to be a hell of a lot more of everything. That could explain why I am over-levelled all the time....
I used to be apathetic, now I just don't care.

actual garbage tier league rewards. im not someone who thinks u need big rewards, im almost always of the opinion the rewards are too much. but this is the most rippy league they have ever made and instead of getting good rewards every single map, maybe many times per map, i have to wait multiple maps to get that ^^^ ?

plz. come off it.

I know that you are last to complain but i agree with you on this.
Early league rewards are bad but i think they will get a lot better when players develop their chars.
There's a quant multiplier in Scourge and with strong char, currency should be pouring later on.
For now i agree, garbo loot.

AS-IS:
1. Rewards: currently in white maps, very little rewards for entering Nightmare - high RIP with little to show for. Currency drops rarely, waiting for their value to settle; scourged items dropped are virtually all trash (average items + corruption + 2 mods that put together are rarely beneficial)
2. Screen clutter: Nightmare very rippy; major part of the rip factor comes from slideshow I am getting when entering Nightmare and not able to react
3. Items scourge: too few maps scorged to speak up, for other items meh. Seems to be a money sink for late game bored no-lifers who can afford to risk high end item for very low probability of getting it extraordinary. No risk no reward - but here any reward is very low probability default is actually negative as seems like scorge mods are on average slightly negative + corruption
4. Smooth integration normal-nightmare - nice and intuitive.

Options:
1. Add scorge mods removal option
2. Remove the exploding balls from Nightmare
3. Revise Nightmare drop table

During leveling the enchanted items turn out outdated by design.
And then to rub it my low level sword is unable to do physical damage.

So, in this league I basically level vanilla league.
And still leveling, got the merciless lab done. And I'm so totally not going to try these crapcoloured rifts.

Here's a tip: if you use blasphemy with a brightly coloured curse you can actually see where monsters are.
I reinstalled to try this league, but I'm having the same issue at the moment. What the heck is the point of scourge mechanics? What exactly are we supposed to be corrupting? I just got to maps today and not one item I've put in the crucible has been useful. Like, not even a little useful. I don't understand the end game here. Does something else happen once you hit T16 maps or something?

All right.
Its just destroying trash into more trashed trash mechanic.

Ppl having fun destroying gear :)
Anyway its meh.
Myea I think the juice is at the end for the monster builds or groups, stacking that scourge quant with insane uber stuff.

I predict the biggest wealth gap between the top and the others at least I have ever seen (playing since Perandus). Hope I'm wrong.
Did you try turning it off and on again?
