So, this clip shows the incident as one of the first times it has happened.. this is ruining my experience in this game. I've dropped expedition after week 2 or so right after my 6th death in a row to this same issue. I don't know what it is, but as you can see on the video, my camera still work fine.. internet, youtube song video, just poe latency goes to the sky and then after some time it returns to normal, then it's when everything accelerates to "catch up". It happened many times that didn't result in death or me diconnecting. I had almost given up on trying to solve this, was almost dropping the game as today it happened once already (didn't die though), as you can see at the end of this video at 3 hours 20 min https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1183995042 And as I was exploring poe thread on 4chan, another guy posted a print showing the same issue. Have you come upon a fix for this? Been having lag spikes with the exact same behavior. Ping spikes up to 20 thousand and drops me from the game.

Same here. I'm getting frequent disconnects (every 5 to 30 min), it never happened in previous leagues. My latency is stable at 14ms and then shoots through the roof (10k+). I didn't manage to get past the slave pens because of this, the game is becoming unplayable. My internet connection seems fine though. Hope there's a fix soon.

To add some context, I started having this problem at the tail end of Expedition, so it's been here a while and I'm not sure if it's going to be fixed.
Last time I had a problem like this, a year ago, the disconnects behaved differently and I fixed the issue by asking my ISP for a router change. Maybe you could try that. | |
