Elemental overload (EO) not working with totems

As stated in the title EO currently is not working with totems but the passive makes it sound like it should. Would be nice if it gets cleared up if EO is now able to work with totems

I also have problems with EO. I selfcast Arc and have EO allocated, but not once in Act 2 did it proc. According to my character sheet, Arc has a 5% spell crit, but EO either does not proc or it procs, but the buff does not show up, so not sure if it works or not.

Don't know if it matters, but I allocated a Lightning Mastery : non-crits are lucky.

I also play Arc self-cast, and I can confirm that EO does not work.

I'm not sure if you're already aware, but Elemental Overload's buff doesn't appear on the top left in a square anymore. It appears directly under the hotkey box on the bottom right. It's a small multicolored indicator under the relevant box.

i did a quick test on standard.

when i self cast my spell, elemental overload seems to work - a little icon shows up on the skill when it is active. however, even when the icon is there, it does not change the skills damage value on my character screen.

but when i use the same spell with spell totem support, elemental overload does not work at all. the icon never shows up on the skill.

would be nice to get confirmation from GGG whether it is supposed to work with totem skills or not.

Can anyone from GGG just state if the new EO is supposed to work with totems or not?

Can anyone from GGG confirm this? If it's the case, it's a huge nerf for HC totem builds which usually go for EO.

This is great info, I honestly have been looking through posts for a good 20 mins as I'm at the point right now where I gear one way or the other.
