" Yeah fortify is nerfed. We'll you still have 20 initial stacks... but you need to ramp this up on multiple hits (for non champ).. imagine sirus, maven, uber 1on1 boss fight. It's not worth investing on any single node atm. |

" The strike range changes got me upset before I saw the tree. Strike range is the least of my worries, and it's pretty easy to get ~10 strike range through nodes you already path to. I just seem to remember them nerfing the Scion life while, and said they buffed other life nodes, but Marauder/Duelist life nodes don't seem to be important enough. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Judging by gem changes or lack thereof:
# 1+ of these as meta: Steel Champ TR whatever Purifying flame miner -somewhat dmg boost Tempest Shield - huge dps - has reservation but seems good for Scourge mechanic - immunity to shock is great - makes me think of lightning Discharge in combo, a Tesladin/Thor Vortex - huge boost CoC - reduced reservation - CoC Ice Nova is back on the menu imo # Other interesting niche builds Voltaxic Burst - 1% crit Infernal legion support - huge fire dps boost CwC - reduced reservation - Icestorm seems to be an option # Personal option: Potential meta (I dream, I know) ES build melee ES build Energy blade build |

" I had that exact same reaction on range. Moving range from gem to tree (and it's mostly marauder + duelist areas) - discourages the other classes from going melee or makes them travel alot (even if you annoint for range..but no1 seriously does that unless you have Blight items for multiple annoints) - traditionally-melee classes can scale easier strike range Increase Life% changes on tree were conservative, took a bit from melee-oriented and gave to others bit more. |

" I bet you it has something to do with MaryLene's Fallacy for insane Crit multi and Second Sight(now more viable cause of blind nerf) to counter the less crit chance. probably scalling attack speed with rage in berserker node and Elementalist cannot take reflected magic dmg and exposure. so I assume its going to be some sort of elemental attack build that is scaled by crit and crit multi and attack speed. |

" I'm tempted to try a broken build I found on Youtube that they didn't touch at all in patch notes. It requires a bunch of mechanics and a keystone all put together but the DPS is much higher than 13mil. With limited time to play I kind of want to try it but I also don't want to get used to it because when GGG finds out the multiple interactions they will nerf it into the ground. I've been looking at making some kind of Scion bowzerker hybrid but tbh, like every other regular zerker I make that uses a bow the rage gen completely holds it back on bossing, esp with phased fights. Really trying to stop myself from doing the same this league. " I'm thinking the same. Everyone and their dog wants Fort now, after the removal of perma fort for any class from flasks. I foresee GGG just deleting Fort from Champs or finding a way to make it melee only for Champ, but lets not give them ideas... |
