Charged Dash Ignite Damage
Charged Dash final wave damage doesn't scale the base damage for ailments (ignite). In spite of the wording being exactly the same as for Infernal Blow which does scale the ignite damage.
Infernal Blow: " This allows for a 6 charge debuff to explode with a high base damage for big ignites. Max damage: 6 x 0.66 x 166 = 657.36 base damage Charged Dash: " In spite of the wording, the final wave release seems to not count the stages into the base damage for the hit. Expected max: 15 x 0.75 * 121 = 1361.25 base damage Actual max: 121 x 2.5 = 302.5 base damage So Charged Dash actually deals ~78% less damage than the wording suggests. Now, obviously the max base damage for ignite is huge, but we could balance this with a wording change such as: " IMO the top end for charged dash should be higher because it has significant downsides: channeling, requires low movement speed, requires lots of attack speed scaling, requires Elementalist or Stormfire, and requires careful aiming. This has been bugged since the Charged Dash rework in PoE 3.3 Incursion, and was reported in late June of 2018. Or if we want ignites to not be possible with Charged Dash for some reason, please clarify the wording. I'd like to see this fixed as well, it seems there's a good amount of people in the reddit thread linked below who think the same.

" Sad but expected from GGG, Melee is afterall not an officially supported playstyle in POE. As the Devs have said many a time when it was pointed out that they've completely botched anything to do with melee and asked about it: *crickets* Yep, thats about all we can expect boys. BTW sadly was researching doing an ignite Charged dash build until I found this thread... So instead of playing more POE I guess I'll go back to lost Ark's superior combat and net code. Its already eating POE's lunch in terms of playerbase, imagine if they added better loot and more build theory... Basically could totally write POE off at that point. But when bugs like this being ignored for literal years, it makes you realize just how much of POE"s "creativity" is just an illusion. Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4. If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years. I've done some testing on this, and it turns out none of Charged Dash's damage mechanics apply to ailments: you do the same damage with each wave while moving, while finished moving, and with the final wave.
