Have to say I agree. The choices to remove/keep seem to be odd at best.
Going to miss several of those maps as they are nice to have between the more tedious maps. As mentioned, will wait to see what the major rework brings. Hopefully that will bring back some of the lost maps or similar type replacements. For now, going to miss my daily stroll along the beach. A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

You don't think they're gonna revamp all of those and then switch them with the old ones still in the list in 3.17 for a big revamp before 2.0 do you?
Noone can do that much work. Nah they do it for the hate. Think a truckload of the good divs are going to be in the dungs? Did you try turning it off and on again?

They made bad choices of the maps to keep. Beach and Mesa are my top choices to run. :(
